Southern Fulton Junior-Senior High School Artist Residency
Fall 2018

My Main Areas of Focus:

- Developing and adapting curriculi & pedagogical methods to support student learning outcomes & participation

-Documenting students' progress throughout the residency, both in terms of work performed & content produced

-Gain experience in project management
This project is an artist residency through the stARTSomething Arts & Education
Program in partnership with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, the Cultural
Alliance of York County, and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. I worked with the photography class, 2-D Art class, three sections of 8th grade English, and the Interactive Media class at Southern Fulton Junior-Senior High School to ultimately develop a photography installation in the Sidling Hill Turnpike Plaza in the Spring of 2019. During the Fall 2018 Semester, I performed an artist residency at Southern Fulton Junior-Senior High School to prepare students for the spring installation, and enrich their coursework in photography, creative writing, public affairs, and web design. This project will take place over both the Fall and Spring semesters, with the first meeting with students occurring in mid September and concluding in December. I was chosen for this residency by the Director of the program and his knowledge of my artistic excellence in the field of visual art and past volunteer experience with other artist residencies.
